abort potency?!?

ok,. i want to find out about the potency of aborts,..as opposed to mature mushrooms,... i just totally suprised the hell out of myself, i just harvested my first flush and had about half a handful of aborts i cleaned of the casing that i spawned on popcorn,..so roughly,.30 aborts i guess,. shouldn't weigh much dried ya know? what like maybe a 1/32 of an ounce?! holy shit it knocked me on my ass!!!EQ's is what they are,. what a rush,. i've never been so hyper and talkitive ,. crazy,.
  would an equal weight  say 1/8th of aborts and mature shrooms, an equal weight of aborts be more potent??? :grin:

my first attempt w/ ps. cyan in the refrigerator only yielded 1/8 gm. of aborts.
but, they where vary potent :smile: blue meanies doesn't even begin to describe them.

There isn't a lot of proof either way. There is a popular thought that aborts are more potent but IME they are about equal. It has been said that mushrooms begin to produce less psilocybin about the time the veil breaks, but im sure there isnt any proof for this either. If you think they are more potent, they probably will be...the mind is a powerful thing.

ok,. i just ate the rest,. i split it between me and my g/f,. it looks like we just split i dunno,. maybe 3/8ths of an ounce,. so i'm gonna be FUCKED!! i let ya know how they are

My god! Finally the voice of reason on this topic that is not mine.
There is unfortunately no evidence in any study that demonstrates that aborts are more potent than their weight in healthy fruitbodies. There is also no evidence that suggests that fruitbodies sstop producing alkaloids when their veil breaks (and as some cubies lose their veil a lot earlier than others, yet yield similar potencies, it is unlikely).
As for aborts, in about 100+ grows ive never noticed a difference. There may be, but there is no evidence that there is and frankly ive never noticed a difference.
Mind you, how would you with cubies - they are so piss weak :smile: Stick to pans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
