What kind of cactus seeds? I`d be interested in any kind of trichocereus speices, also I have been looking for some L. Diffusa.

bought me a digi cam just for the plants n stuff...

leftovcrs.. lessee...
i got some Eschscholzia, P. somniferum, marjoram,
garlic chive, Datura stramonium and Leonotis leonorus...

also i expect to harvest some hyoscyamus seeds in a couple of weeks.
and im gonna see if i can score some cactus seeds today...

how come the site doent show pics of your stuff?
i dunn checked em all from top to bottom..

they got alot of awards too.

is it like a weekly reward with alternating themes?

because when it comes to topics of the darkside of the botanical, i think i could take first in any category.
...if theres any sort of prize that is, otherwise feh...
what did you win?

you want to win a contest with better prestiege and prizes?

join the local botanical society,  if you can't find it, just  ask directions from some other society....  somehow they are all inter-membered.

half your local midlife gay population will be members, if you need connections
(and if you know one gay guy, you know em all.  .. even if they don't THINK anuyone knows :smile:.)

doesnt mean that all the members are gay BTW. although even some of the married members are....
just means that a gay fellow is probably more likely to admit he knows where to find the flower societies.

basically you hold a social at your house with the members of the clique during the best floral action in your garden of the year.

you have to weigh out planning enough advance time, in comparison to other society members' socials, so that you can have them there when your deadly daturas are at their most venomous, and then pull a smooth vincent price motiff off with the style of the night...

bam you get a trophy.

... if your part of one of the elite groups you win some money and maybe some yard furniture.  as the sponsors are often gardening companies and yard furnature manufactures.

well the thing is i wasnt trying to win anything.
erowid was having a thing to get pictures for the info cards n stuff.
i sent them a link saying if they like any pic on my site to feel free
and take it...

with the title being 'best cultivation collection' i think
its for having a very diverse collection of ethno/entheo's...

as for the prise: i get a free membership (not sure what that means yet) and a choice between a mug and a t-shirt. (i choose a shirt)

i would take the mug. seriously man, a mug is better.
ive sucked tea out of cloth brfore, i must say a mug is a serious improvement.
as an ethnobotanical person i hopre perhaps were on the same page.

and no it was datura fastuosa (metel)

I have three or four yopo plants. I sold off a few just to make space because I didn't expect to actually get so many when I started. To plant, I just stuck them upright so that the top of the seed was right below the top of the soil. They are pretty easy once established. They just need to keep from drying out and have a sufficient light source. So far,I've had them under a flourescent bulb, by the window and outside. They survived in all three. I lost a few to drying out outside when they were young...but these were mainly the runts of the litter. I currently have one in each location, though I move them around if the weather changes. If they aren't watered or the sun is too hot they will drop the tiny individual leaves on their branches. They would really have to be forgotten about in order to die at this point. Plus I have them in tiny-assed pots...real tiny. Sometimes I'll put them under the light to recooperate if they have had a rough time in the sun . They are good at letting you know when they are happy. I haven't doen the pea thing yet. I just fertilize with plant food occasionally. It seems like they enjoy lots of water and not too much sun...perhaps in a shady location outside. That's all you really have to know. I have tons of viable seed if you want to trade. I
