These are some microscopy pictures of L. seeds, as you can see it's possible to recognize the different species by analyzing the structure of them.
I thought it was worth to share :thumbup:

It's helpful, but you need a SEM to do it.

why do you need a SEM if any school lab microscope can spot micron long things?

you won't get definition or contrast like that from a light microscope.

the pictures on the right have features in them that help to distinguish between the seeds that are small than a micron..
