Germinating and growing Eschscholzia californica (California Poppy)

Had a successful germination and thought I'd share it with you guys in case anyone was interested in growing some. very simple!!

1 part rock (for drainage.. maybe perlite would work??)
3 parts regular soil

I gave it a 12/12hr cycle with HPS light, and had seedling 5 days later.*

Once established, they are drought tolerant, but I still don't like to push it too much. I let the soil dry moderately, than water again. You'll get blooms within a couple of months.

*Of course this may vary, but either way these plants grow and spread very quickly.

So there you have it... Hope this helps somebody out.
