Tight enough terrerium lid?

First of all let me just thank The Shroomery(all of you guys) for being such a great resource! Onto my question:

My koala has a 58 qt. Sterlite container that he plans on using for his terrerium. The lid fits on fairly well, but is sort of loose on the sides that don't "click" to the container. He cut a section out of the lid and used hot glue and clear vinyl to make a light window. He is also going to use Perlite for humidification. Will the lid work or does he need to use a more sophisticated lid?

My wookie finds that weather stripping helps to push the humidity from 90 to 96-98% and keeps nastiness from having a place to sneak in.

Target is running a sale right now in the ATL area... they sell a combo thermometer/hygrometer (not digital, but fairly readable) for $4.99. I suggest trying it w/out the stripping... if your humidity is above 90-92% then you don't really need it.

You're fine. The humidity will be in the 90's. That'll suffice.
