Okay, there should be a sensor attached to a wire that's attached to the gauge. That is the outside read. Where the actual gauge is at, that is the inside read. Sometimes they take a little while to adjust to the current temp, so just wait.

yeah, who cares you only need 1 temp, its not that hard to figure out a thermomiter. and if yuou cant figure it out i dont see how you will be able to grow anything

If you happen to have the ACURITEtm....they are crappy, i stole mine from k-mart, sounds to me you did the same...For my poor mans pod I set the heater to the 85 range and let it be....its much warmer than the room which is 75....so I dont worry. If you're under age your stupid for growing in your parents house...otherwise steal or buy a good thermometer. When you birth the cakes...get yourself a humidity meter from a cigar or tobacco shop and use a plain old alcohol thermometer in the terrerium.

I don't steal from people or ma&pa shops...honest vendors get my bussiness...but places like K-mart deserve it. I am in the far left....far. Infact i don't like to be put on the scale because it is still part of the "democratic" scale. I belive big bussineses must fall...it does not effect the employees one bit...(until they go out of bussiness)if the employees have crappy wages maybe the big shots who sit around should lower their multi-million dollar pay check. sorry about the rant, didnt mean to go off the topic just had to get it out.
