I took less than a gram once to keep me up on a long late night drive. They did a little more than keep me awake.

I conducted an experiment involving aborts becuase I wanted "popcorn" mushies. They were no more potent than normal mushies and had gave an unclean experience. Furthermore, I would not recommend others trying such an experiment because there is always the possibability of bacterial contamination and thus food poisoning.

When you get more experienced, aborts are nothing but a hassle. The only attention you'll pay to aborts is scraping them off your substrate with a knife.

This is why no one is spending a lot of energy on the aborts issue.

also, yes, in my experience aborts are more potent per weight than full grown mushies.  i've had a bunk strain that wouldn't get past the pin stage.  the biggest mushies were about half an inch tall.  i spent about an hour scraping them off the casing b/c that was my only casing and i was intending on tripping a couple weeks later. 

i had about 3 grams to split between 3 people so i was very verbal w/ them that we might get a close to baseline high if anything at all.  30 minutes after ingestion i felt the classic shroomyness coming on.  for a few hours after that i was EXTREMELY high.  we were all really high that day on 1 dry gram of aborts each.

they were grown on a wbs casing and that was my first experience w/ wbs, previous was brf.  maybe the reason i got so high was because they were grown from wbs and not brf but i'll tell you...i don't know what the potency difference is of shrooms grown on wbs vs brf but i don't think its enough to make me almost loose my mind on 1 gram.  i believe in the power of aborts.

i say they are more potent but the hassle of removing them 1 by 1 w/ a tweezer from a casing is not worth the trouble of the increased potency. :thumbup:

i used to leave anything under an inch and scrape it off with a fork after the first flush and use the vacuum to suck them up. They are a hassle

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
