help! condensation in casing, errrrrr or maybe not errrr hehe

I put them in casings on saturday. By monday? maybe tuesday night, the white growth had spread through the top layer of the casing. so i started the light cycle of 12 on and off. However... condensation is still dense.. there are no pools of water on my casing but there are water droplets on top of my white growths.

now... am i being to impatient? the white growth stuff (i cant spell mynacillum) is probably over 50-75% of the top layer of casing, yet no pins have developed.

is there to much condensation? I have whiped the top of the container 4 times. the container i have is not air tight, air is able to push itself out...

i guess i'm just frustrated because i see no pins, the white growth is ready for pinning, there is condensation humidity (so high humidity) and its between 72-76 degrees.

maybe the heating pad i had on "low" , was to warm for them? so that they would continue microgrowth rather then start pinning? tommorow i'm going to just use the heat in my room.

Should start the light cycle as soon as they go into fruiting chamber.

I would patch up the myc spots and start fanning if you don't have anything for air exchange.

so start fanning? okies! how often a day?

also... dry patching or wet? i was thinking sterlize some peatmoss and put it on top to dry up some of hte moister.

Your are way too early for pinning. Pinning will start between 9-12 days from the time they are placed in the fruiting chamber. I'm currently on my 10th day and one pins has shown up so far. Be patient and they will come.

Your temps are correct so don't change them.

sorry for double posts... i have a massive headache

should i put up a thin dry layer of peat moss (steril) over the white growths? or just be patient and wait more?

I really dont think light is as big of an issue as you may think. You just need to keep fanning and make sure your temps dont go above 76 degrees, try and keep it around like 74. Keep fanning and be patient.

fan em like a black woman in a southern baptist church.

you should get a little external air pump. its really easy to turn it on and leave the tiny bit of air flow going for hours. doesnt really alter humidity and it keeps air levels high.
