hey guys, check it out. I pulled all my jars out today to check for contams. NONE!!! woohoo. As u all know, this is my first grow here,are what they look like at 8 days after innoculation! Just thought I would update you all, and show how fast this is goin for me!

All together, out of the 12, I have 3 FL+, 4 GT, and 5 EQs...
All I can say is...WOW!

And these are the fastest EQs I have.

And here are the FL+

And finally, and slowest of all, the GT. (But not doin bad my no means

)

Nice arent they?!

the ones under the GTs, are the rest of my EQs.
BTW, sorry for the blurry pics...but it works. hehe. GL everyone, and thanks.

No fair! I inocculated 6 stropharia and 6 PF classics weeks ago and now only 5 are almost entirely colonized...hrm

And u wanna know another thing? I didnt spray disenfectant, or do anything to sterilize my room when I innoculated. I even walked around with the syringes in my hand! Plus, I keep them in a closet with clothes hanging over them...I dont see what is so hard about contams...seems it is very overrated...or i have pure luck...lol

You might have gotten away without being that sterile right now, but dont do that shit when you have casings or cakes. Thats where most of my contams come into play(green mold).
Those are looking good for pint jars. I did some pint jars and they took forever to finish. Somewhere like close to a month. Nice work keep us updated.

Now is when you should be using disenfectant. Once your substrate is completely colonized it is less susceptable to cantams than it is now. I hope you at least put them in some kind of incubation chamber. A rubbermaid perhaps. I can't wait to see your harvest and good luck.

O.K., thanks. I just placed an order with TLG.This will be my second attempt at growing. The first time I bought GT and B+ from the Sporeworks and 24 pre-sterilized jars from Micron Magick. All but 2 of the jars ended up with green mold. I'm not exactly sure, but I think the jars were to blame. Plus it took a month just to get them in the mail.This time I have everything I need to do the job myself. Half pint canning jars, Organic brown rice flour, and medium verm.I'm excited because I really think this time things are gonna go great.I can't wait to get the spores, hopefully I won't have to wait long.

Hey dont count your chickens yet buddy! I had 6 jars, all looked fuckin beautiful until i birthed them, then 3 got hit with the green mold. Green sometimes stays dormant in the cake and waits untile fruiting to rear its ugly head.
