Can I clone a store bought portabella?

I bought this monster portabella at the grocery store. Can I take a section out of the stem and clone with cardboard?

Are growing ports much different from cubes? I love growing my own food it saves you so much money!

Yes you can. It looks slightly different than cultivating cubes.

i dont think you can clone on cardboard ala cyan/azur... portabello's don't grow on wood they grow on manure.. you can clone an inside piece of it onto agar, see thread in this forum called(what else) Cloning Gourmets.. You can probably follow standard poo tek for cubes and grow these...
