I did the isolation on antibiotic oatmeal agar. The contams were mostly Trichoderma and Botyritis, not bacteria. I think Z- is right, I think they were older rehydrated fruits rather than fresh ones.....What selective media suggestions do you have?

r05c03: if your cultures are free of bacteria you might try multiple point transfers to ACmA. this should retard the growth of both the contaminant molds and the target mycelium. as soon as you notice mold sporulation in the plate carefuly transfer from non sporulating growth onto several plates untill you get a plate free of sporulating molds.

just a suggestion.
