p. cubensis potency

i just tripped out last saturday on some nice p cubensis. i have about a quarter ounce with me now of the same batch. im wondering if anyone knows if this batch is losing potency as the time goes by? and if i take them now will i trip out hard or should i wait longer? because a source told me to wait a day or two because my trip will be stronger. if someone could shine some light on my curiousity it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

It will lose potency as time goes by, but you have a few months before the chemicals start to break down. You may have to eat a few more to get to the same level if you just tripped two days ago... my friend always waits at least a week inbetween trips and has no potency problems.

If dried correctly, shrooms should last a good six months without noticable potency loss. This, ofcourse, depends on how they are stored.
