Redstorm for OTD mod

I think OTD needs a changing of the guard. While we all know that its a dificult forum to moderate we need someone who is fair, who knows otd and stays out of the drama. I can't think of a better candidate than Redstorm. He is never involved in any kind of problem but is online enough to moderate. You would be hard pressed to find a deserved 1 in Redstorm's ratings. Plus he's a good guy IRL too. I say you admins offer him the job.

.. and this is really what it comes down to. Right now, we do not have reason to appoint additional support in that forum. The current mods have been keeping things in line and we have received little complaint. If you have a specific complaint, you may always PM myself or another admin to discuss it (I'll be out of town until Monday night though).

The outpouring of support for Redstorm will be noted, if and when we do hold a nomination for new OTD moderators.

Disclaimer: This is not a plug for myself for mod-ship, but an observation of the community itself.

I really don't see how there are no openings. We have mods who are stretched thin over three or four forums. We have mods of OTD who not only don't take part in the conversations a majority of the time, but are not even there EVER.

In the forums, and I would say especially in the case of OTD, the mods should be ones who are part of the forum, not above it or phantoms behind the scenes. I won't name names, but I would say there are OTD mods who have absolutely no reason to mod there.

Regardless of your decisions or opinions on the matter, that is my $.02.

Well, what then, is yours? What is your argument?

If you were mod, you would have to deal with the drama too... JUST LIKE Prisoner1 does.

No offense... I don't really know you... but...

The whole Red for Mod... because he's never involved in drama, "Theory" would be out the window before you knew it... either THAT... OR you'd need to stop posting in OTD. MODS QUELL DRAMA.

As a Mod, you either deal with the drama (IE: Do your job... just like Prisoner1 does...) or you hide from your duties.

What doesn't make sense about THAT argument?
