Will soaking WBS for 36 hours cause sprouting or other hazzards? I started soaking 24 hours ago, but can not simmer until tomorrow morning, about 36 hour soak.
Will this cause me problems?

You should be safe at 36 hours. If temp is real high, you may see a little germination. If LOW, not so, but you are on the cusp of it happening. If you are in cold weather county, set it outside, to stall that aspect.

I dont actually think that simmering is needed after 36H soak.

The cat routinely soaks his WBS from 36 to 48 hours. No problems yet. No simmer either.

Wow. >[01:08] <Joops> even spelled like a retard and spelled "cusp"
So someone calling someone else a retard for spelling a word correctly that they didnt know was a word. I wonder if Joops has heard of the word "dictionary". I hope so, so he can go look up the word "ignorant" in it.
With grain, I've soaked for 2 days a LOT (I'm a lazy stoner, what can I say), the main thing is when you dont want germination, keep the water level over the grain.
