Pressure cooker question

I'm about to sterilze some standard PF cakes. My pressure cooker only fits 4 in the bottom though so it takes foreve to do a dozen cakes. It happens to be tall enough that I could stack 4 more on top. Is there any reason I should not do this?

just as long as your exhaust valves are not blocked, and the lid can be safely screwed on, youre fine. stacking jars is okay.
