Pressure Cooker Question
    #715047 -

The pressure cooker I have doesn't have a gage thingie on it. So if put my jars in there.. there is no way to measure the pressure. Does it matter? If so, can I buy just the pressure gage for my pressure cooker?

Some have a weight with the presures marked on it, some have a weight with an indicator that rises.
If its the first, self explanatory.
If its the latter, wait until the indicator is full (should be last mark), this is 15psi.

Good luck

Well, you can just cook it until the steam starts escaping. Does your cooker use a weight or a dial to regulate pressure?

I don't know.. I've never used a pressure cooker before. I just got this one off of ebay. It's Minute Maid PC. And I can't measure anything. I'm missing that piece.

Some pressure cookers are regulated at 15 psi already . I had a pressure cooker which didn't have any dial of any sort but it was a stricly 15 p.s.i cooker. Not sure if this is your case or not. I no longer own it
