I actually found ONE!! finally.....16 Qt fits 7(?) quart jars, But there is one problem, I don't know how much water to put into it for canning. If anybody has a Maid of Honor 16 Qt. Pressure cooker can you let me know. Or even if you have a 16 Qt pressure cooker that fits around 7 quart jars how many cups of water do you put in yours, Im sure its around the same amount. Thank God for the salvation army, to bad no instructions.......btw, got it for 20 bucks. If you don't have a pressure cooker I would recommend going to your local thrift stores and what not, and look....It can't hurt anything and you might score a good pressure cooker out of it.

Mines a different brand but mine had no instructions either. I put 2 pints in mine to be on the safe side and tested it for an hour, giving it a little wiggle to hear if it was going dry. Worked out about right.

dont fill it 1/3 of the way with water! your jars will be soaked... you only need about 2 inches of water at the bottom. or, if youre using pf jars, put them in there and then fill the pc with water about 1/4-1/2 up the jars (thats about how much water should be used- the pf jars are a good marker).
pressure cookers/canners dont need a lot of water, because it doesnt boil off like boiling water does.
for the pressure cooker you picked up- check the seal (the removable black ring on the inside of the lid) and make sure its not brittle or cracked. an imperfect seal is dangerous. also, there might be an exaust valve (a metal tube about 3/4-1" long at the top of the lid)- make sure its not blocked in any way. you can clean it out with a thin piece of wire or a toothpick. hold the lid up to a light source and make sure you can see thru it. (mine has one but im not sure if its similar to yours).
gluck.

I have a metal rack the jars sit on. It is .5 inches , so I put about .5-.75 inches of water in there. Make sure you let it vent steam for a little while . Maybe 5 mins.
