Cubes are cubes eh? Either you have found only one strain, or you just didnt care whether there was a difference between strains, but i can assure you that as the strain varies, so does the chemical content. Also, it would be stupid to think that the cambodian strain of P. cubensis grows only in cambodia; just look at the rapid spread of the species itself. Spores can be carried from one place on Earth to the completely opposite side in a day.
I do agree with you though, it is unlikely that the cambodian variant grows in texas, i was just saying that the strain i always found resembled the cambos'

P.S.: I studied mycology heavily for 1 & 1/2 years.

Yes i forgot about cyans, i live in North Western Georgia now where they dont spawn (not that im aware of). And i have never once found Pa. subbalteatus in Texas.
