Just Moved to East Texas, got a question...
    #5207252 -

Well i moved to nacogdoches recently to go to school and i just wanted to know whether or not fields this far north would be producing this time of year. its about 56-78 here lately and not too cold and we just got some heavy rain so i figure i might be in luck for a little hunting. i know of a few producing fields thanks to some new friends i made and i just needed to know if anyone knows of a good spot to pick in the nacogdoches or lufkin area? your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nacogdoches?! I lived there for 16 years! That's my damned home town!
Are you going to SFA?
Are you in Nacogdoches city or county?
I know MANY a good place to hunt around Nac' and Central Heights (where there is also a cactus farm full of San Pedro).

only time will tell, but I predict that the coming season will start early. Don't take my word for it, it's just a feeling...
Generally for Texas, late February (unusual) to Late April (also unusual). Expect it to start sometime between late March & mid April.
