wanna try and make long distance music

I've a friend who's right into the cakewalk programe and what i was thinking was maybe someone could put down a few chords, email the track to a bass player, he adds bass, then onto me i add drums and we'll see how it goes.
I dont know how difficult it would be but anyone willing to try, something kinda heavy but not to heavy............anyone interested?

i've attempted this in the past with some people at other message boards. but i didn't really get many people wanting to do it. and the ones that did say they would backed out on their part later on. at this time im not in as much of a mood to do so, so i dunno, i'll think about it....

by the way, i can play a variety of instruments very well. but mainly i play guitar so i'd want to put a guitar track down. although i don't play often, i am an excellent player.

what kind of music would you want to make?

i am down, i use adobe audition. i think this would be easy as hell, we just have to send eachother our tracks. i'd be willing to put together the final product. the tricky part is deciding what kinda track we wanna make. im down for pretty much anything except harcore metal. preferably rock, jazz, reggae, jammy stuff. something i can improvise on. lets do this!!

It's a Yamaha Rydeen accoustic kit i have paiste and zyldjian cymbals it's a good sound and as i said i've a friend who could use his cake walk programme to get it together for me.
I'm assuming he would not find it difficult to take a mp3 put it on his pc then set up mikes to let me add drums, i'll be seeing him later today and i'll ask him and get back and let you know, should not be a problem.
What type of music, well we can decide but rock would be my first choice, i hate all the soft rock the play here, Coldplay Kean ect but i've got wide tastes, i was at a Chemical Brothers gig last night and i've tickets for VR and Weezer in June, something with a wicked beat, grungey guitars and a heavy bass line but we can decide between us, see if anyone else wants in but i say lets do it.
