How Can I Download/Burn Music from Rhapsody/itunes?

My girlfriend has rhapsody, which is an online music service much like Itunes. I've been unsuccessfully trying to find a program that would allow me to save those songs into mp3s on the harddrive. I know this has to be available somewhere, anyone have a link?

You can burn it by paying like 79 cents or 99 cents per song or whatever the cost of it is in that program. Otherwise, you'd have to record each song with a seperate recorder and then convert to mp3 because rhapsody isn't a program where you dload music trks. Maybe i'm totally missing the point here? Because this sounds way too rudimentary. Are you looking for like some illegal program or something or am i on the same page?

are you asking where to get a p2p program?
http://www.slsknet.org http://azureus.sourceforge.net http://www.emule-project.net http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net
I like soulseek, personally - it has the best selection of independent, electronic music - it was a pet project of the IDM mailing list, hence the great music population.

no not a p2p, I want something that can work with Rhapsody to record the songs that it accesses, something that convert everything that goes through the soundcard into a wav file, something like that. I know these things exist, someone's gotta have a link

Buy a small hand held digital recorder that has a 1/8 jack and/or 1/4 input and hook it up to the output/headphone jack of your computer. I believe they also have ones that can capture your computer audio via USB. They probably are better but I have never recorded that way since I do not possess one.

You can get a better idea of what kind of devices I am talking about here:

Hope this helps!
EDIT: WOW, did not try to grave dig, I did not realize this post was from 15 years ago.
