Why Bush doesn't give a damn about the border

...in my opinion.

If any of you watch Bill O'Reilly, you will notice that he constantly harps upon the lax security on the Mexican border. He complains that illegals slip in day and night and that there are millions of illegals in America (which is all true). He is pissed about this and doesn't understand why President Bush doesn't take a tougher stance towards border security. Here are my opinions why I think Bush wants Mexicans running across the border:

1. Bush has always pandered to the Hispanic vote. The Hispanics in this country want lax border security because they want their "brothers" to have the opportunity to live the American dream. Legal immigration takes too long. Illegal immigration is much faster and easier. I think Bush is concerned about "cementing" the Hispanic population's support for the Republican Party.

2. I think Bush wants to change the demographics of the country. All of the Mexican illegals coming into this country are of working age. There are tons of old native people in America who will be receiving entitlements from the government in the coming years. If America can have a bunch of illegals come in who will work and generate wealth, we will be better able to handle taking care of all of those old people.

3. Not too much $$ to be gained by policing the border, hence his stance on it. However... If you tell Bush that it could be an avenue for terrorists.... nevermind... that doesn't make too much sense, he's the president.

True... but I don't think that they plan that far ahead. Look at Iraq. They had to do some serious damage control their.

Personally I don't give a shit whether they live in Mexico, or the U.S. as long as you can only vote if you were born to at least one American parent.

American citizenship should not be handed out to every baby that plops out on American soil.
