After seeing so many lysol and listerine drunks I am permanently put off alcohol. "Hey buddy can you help me? I have an infection and the dentist said I need medicine... can you help me?" Don't know how many times I've heard that one.

Or the time some bum came back into a store I was working in and tried to return a can of mousse, obviously he thought it was hair spray, hahah serves him right.

Apparently "green can" which is unscented lysol goes good with coke... what a pathetic drug that would make you stoop so low as to drink poison just as long as there's a bit of alcohol in it.

when I'm drunk I'm just really really happy so it's not annoying for other people.

I don't like it that you don't know what happened the evening before when you were drunk so I don't drink much anymore. But I still like to drink a few beers of coarse but not to the state of drunkness :thumbup:
I also like to smoke weed next to it :laugh:

I hate the feeling that drinking gives me it makes me feel heavy and sleepy and I can hardly move on it... I get stupid on alcohol.. Clothes come off table tops start to look good to me and the next day I wake up with a lot of regret because people I nver wanted to see me naked or see me act a fool witnessed me in my stupidest fourm..I hate drinkink.. Ill stick to pot.. not to mention I can't find any alcohol that taste good

Haven't had a drink since December 24th 2003 - taking it one day at a time was tough for a while (tougher than coming off coke) but I'll never touch the 'devil's vomit' ever again.

Alcohol is the shittiest drug ever - the direct and indirect cause of so much violence, death and stupidity in the world.

That said, if you wanna drink go ahead.

But.....

If only every alcoholic were a pothead, or a shroomer, or an acid-head! What a wonderful world it would be.

One reason I decided to stop drinking, I don't like being a drunk asshole anymore. I'll probably drink again this summer but more socially instead of getting hammered everytime.

the last time i was drunk was last night. it was quite strange, really - i was at a friend's girlfriend's place, having a nice evening with red wine and whisky. then this girl who i've been trying to start some romance with comes by (along with quite a few others). i offer her some red-wine (i'm quite drunk at this point), and she tells me that she has decided to take a week and a half off from drinking. uh oh, i'm thinking, this might result in a messy situation for myself. but, it turned out to be quite alright. i got progressively drunker and drunker, until around midnight when i was sitting with this girl, singing along to Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Then my friend's girlfriend's crazy lesbian roomate came home, and said that she needed to wake up early the next morning so we all had to get the fuck out. My friend and his girlfriend decided just to go to bed, the rest of the party all went out to some bar, and me and this girl walked to her flat to smoke a big joint that she had. Quite strange, really, to try to hold a serious conversation with a very sober person when you are very drunk yourself (especially because she has a really weird Trondheim accent in her Norwegian) - but all turned out for the best. Woke up this morning at 7am to catch the bus back to where I live so I could make it to school on time...

All in all, I'd say I greatly enjoy getting drunk. The only times in my life that it has been very bad was when I was going through a particularly nasty breakup and was very depressed. But I've never gotten violent, never been a "drunk asshole", really. I usually either get in a very music-mood when drunk, where I just want to hear all the music I love or go jam, or I get in a very political mood where I just want to discuss politics and philosophy...
