Although I love Pink Floyd, they don't even touch the Dead, imho. I know what PawPaw will say, though! :smile:

no way, man... can't be compared at all. such different types of music, different live experience, different personalities, etc.

the only thing in common is the relative era that they played, and that both music sounds good as hell on LSD.

Can someone recommend some GD for me ?

Ive only listened to the "6/9/77 @ San Francisco Set 1" show....and i didn't like it that much. Id like to hear a well liked song, not a show. Just a MP3. Any recommendations ?

Yes. Listen to Eyes of The World, Help on the Way, New Minglewood Blues, Jack-A-Roe, etc. I love these songs alot and always recommend them to newer listeners of The Dead. peace

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
