I'd say try something where they acted like a band (although Animals and The Wall they really weren't together). The Final Cut wasn't very good, and everything after Waters left wasn't good either.

I can't listen to a whole lot of Floyd after DSOTM. Much too depressing for me.

Paw  Don't you like Waters?
When he did pros and cons, He was telling the story to the auditorium.
At one point, I thought it was me thinking these things in my head, when I realized it was Waters (talking/singing)
I think it's all good, hey, I heard PF was getting back together in '05...

yeah, I know, just something I heard talk about on the radio :frown:

While, I'm here: The only thing that keeps floyd from being a better band, imo,
is that you can't hear their music.
Unlike GD or ABB, their music isn't free

ABB? I assume it's some hippie jam band. Just because Pink Floyd's music isn't free doesn't make them a worse band. How would giving their music away make them better: more innovative, more complex, more emotional? It wouldn't. It means they enjoy making a profit from their work, and they have every right to.

 Allman Brothers Band.
And, imo, free music serves the originally intended purpose....
Oh, no, learyfan, I heard on the radio that PF was talking.
Is Clapton planning something too?

enjoy

If I had to guess, I would say ABB means Allman Brothers Band.

Pink Floyd did have a tour in the 2000's

Edit: It wasn't 2002, it was 2000.

PawPaw is the worlds largest Roger Waters fan, he knows he is the brains behind Pink Floyd.

Waters did contribute a lot to Pink Floyd, and without Waters, PF wouldn't be nearly the same.  But, without Gilmour, PF wouldn't be as good IMO.  Waters was amazing with the lyrics, but wasn't amazing with the music.  Waters + Gilmour for music =

So both Waters and Gilmour made Pink Floyd so great, not just Waters.  Sorry Wright, you did contribute to the band, but not nearly as much as the other two.  Mason... - If Mason wasn't in the band, I don't think it really would have made a different, he really didn't contribute.  Yes, there were a few songs, but not that many and the ones he did weren't that good (again, IMO).
