pinning in Jar,but wanted to use as spawn..help?

I have a few jars of eq's that I wanted to use to spawn compost with. Today I saw them and they had pins inside the jars. Some of them grew about an inch or so. Can I still use these jars to spawn? If so..when should I? Should I wait till all those mushrooms mature? Or cut them out now?

Cut them out now. Chances of contamination will increase if you wait for them to flush.

I would wait until you are ready to break up the substrate and mix it with the compost. Then just tear out the little mushrooms and spawn as usual
