Hi there!

Another "jar-related" question: I had a hard time finding a definitive answer if complete darkness or not is preferred for mycelium growing in jars or if the amout of light has any influence on the growth at all....

You need to keep the jars in the dark because light is a sign to start pinning. Now if you want to grow invitro, then the light will be fine. But to have success with casing's and cakes(non-invitro) keep them in the dark until fully colonized.:) bluhoney
