 Growing Shrooms for a First Timer

I've read some guides on how to grow shrooms but I still don't totally understand how to do it.
First I need the spores, so I'll go buy a spore sheet. Not a serynge. Then I get my jars and make some rice cakes then I put some spores into the jars but what do I do exactly? Just let the spores sit at the top of the cake?
OK so then I just leave my jars somewhere. They don't need light but do they need water?
After a while the mycellium comes in right?
And mycellium is the mushroom roots?
So I need to take them out of the jars at this point, but what do I put it into?
Soil?
Please help me cause I'm not sure how to do it.
Please explain each of the steps in detail but make it simple and easy to understand.

Buy a syringe. They are both cheaper and easier. Make a cake/jar ($5 of material) aka PF Tek and then innoculate with your spore syringe ($12). After mycellium spreads totally throught the cake birth into a humidified grow space ($5 to $15 depending if you have a good container at home) using wet perlite to humidify. Pick the shrooms before the vial breaks for maxium potency.

OK, but with a syringe are there any legal issues getting it mailed to me? I'm from Canada if that helps.
How do I inniculate the cakes?
Do I just stick it into the middle of the cakes?
Cakes are made with rice and vermilte, do I just mix the two together? Do I need to bake the cakes?
Humidified grow space would consist of what?
Soil or just more cakes?
And how do I make the grow space humid?
Also the vial on the shroom is what exactly?

ill give you a basic write out of what i do...
Get a 1/2 pint jar...add 2 1/2 tablespoons to every 8 tablespoons of verm...and 2 1/2 tablespoons of water...
Put them in a pot with water and boil them on med for about 30 min....wait till next morning then with a syringe innoculate them, and cover the neadle hole with tape.
Wait untill the the whole surface is covered with mycelium (just take time, no special requirements) and then in a tupperware bowl on the bottom put moist verm., then ontop of that the shit in the jars (about 2 or 3 jars) and then ontop of that moist verm.
Cover the top and wait about 1 week or maybe a little longer.
Then place in a terrerium(?) with perlite and water on bottom...and with a lid ontop of that.
Fan and if you want to spray with water about three times daily.
And with time and sterilization...you should get some nice flushes in maybe a week or longer

1. I'm pretty sure that you can get a syringe legally. Go to http://go.to/freesporering for you're spores.
2. You innoculate by injecting 1/4cc of spore solution down the inside of the jar at a 45 deg. angle. Do this 4 times in one jar.(1cc in every 1/2 pint jar)
3. cakes are made when the mycelium eats through the substrate (BRF and verm). Mix 2 1/2 tablespoons of brown rice flour to every 8 tablespoons of vermiculite . . . use the same amount of water as brf
4. NO do not bake any spores or spore infested substance! you will however need to bake your jars with the substrate in them in a big pot on a med setting for 30 min. to sterilize them.or use a pressure cooker
5. Use one inch of wet perlite (acts as a humidifier) and fan twice a day misting also.

Just check out www.fanaticus.com. Read about PF Tek, buy their spore syringe and use their technique. Don't get greedy and use a "high yield" tek for your first time or you will screw yourself over.

Spore and spore syringe are legal since they contain no controlled substances. The growing of mycellium is also legal because it too contains no controlled substances. Fruiting that cake is illegal because the mushrooms contain a controlled substane. Keep quite and you wont be in trouble. Read the PF Tek and the MMGG. These can both be found in the Grow/Find section which you can click on located on the frame on the left of your screen. Read about perlite humidification and you are set.

I was really excited about growing for the first time about 2 months ago or so and i told probably too many people. Now i am innoculating my first jar and am still pretty excited. You said to keep quiet . . . does you mean i made a fatal mistake by telling my friends? I won't be selling them just having huge mushroom feasts on the weekends with my closest friends. The people i told are all into weed and acid (buying and selling) so i pray they will keep it on the down low. But my question is can the fuzz (cops,5-0,pigs) really do anything even if i go around saying i deal shrooms unless they catch me in the act? (which i won't be doing)

But ide be careful...they might be able to get you for conspearacy(?) or something like that.
Some one around here told the police that my friend was planning on killing the assistant principal at my school (he wasnt though, ide know), and the police believed it (because he just got out of lock up and hes into icp and weird shit like that) and they charged him with conspearacy(?) and went to lock up about 1 year ago and i still havent heard from him

Damn that shit's fucked up! I'm sorry to hear that about your friend. Is there anything to do when you suspect they are on to you? I guess it all depends . . . but n e ways I remember when i wanted to grow my own weed plants and i got really excited about that. didn't tell n e one though and realized it was literally impossible unless you lived in a secluded area and what not. then (while at hightimes) i saw a link to growing your own shrooms. I never realized just how easy it is and legal to obtain spores. I knew this would be a life long love. I researched and researched and finally now i can do it. All i need is spores.
Can you recommend me to a safe secure and reasonable place to obtain a syringe or print?
Do you know where i can buy empty syringes besides online?

Bad idea to tell ANYONE about your grow-show...
They can tell others, and they'll tell others, and so on... Soon enough, everyone knows. Someone might get busted for, say smoking pot, but then they could be let off if they tell the cops the name of someone who is producing drugs... Your name comes to mind, and then the cops check you out. Sure enough, you're growing, and you'll be busted.
Ofcourse, this is all kind of "rare", if you can call it that. But it's better to keep it low. Try telling your friends that you tried growing, but it didn't work, or that you stopped growing because you thought it was too much work, or something along those lines... Hopefully, they'll forget.

I don't blame the cops for the charges they lay, I blame the gov't. FUK THA GOVERNMENT! (Doesn't really have the same "ring" to it though...)
Any vendor you see mentioned here at the shroomery (check the grow/find section, there's a list of vendors there...) is reliable to obtain a print/syringe. Empty syringes off-line can be found at animal farm stock places, whatever they're called, I forget. Otherwise, just use the syringe that your spore solution cam in, or order on-line...

Thanx for the advice. Recently before i got all my supplies i told a few people that i changed my mind. hopefully that will spread and only my trusted few friends will know the truth when i hit them with an 1/8! oh well thanx again to all and i hope the kid that started this post got all his questions answered.
