 Growing shrooms..newbie bigtime..help

First off my hobby is smoking weed but i love shrooms. I am buying the EZ grow mushroom kit., I know you'll tell me i can do it cheaper but i'd rather just spend money and get the kit all at once for the first time. Anyway, they said the species of spores is Psilocybe Cubensis. Can you tell me a little about this species?? I've taken shrooms before and loved it but i'm sick of spending so much money on them. Will i trip off these shrooms?? Is there a possiblity that i grow the wrong shrooms and they kill me??(just askin)..let me know what you think..thanks

Use the search and read about "kits"
The information available here render
kits almost obsolete. Peace

p. cubensis are what most of us grow around here, they are easy to grow, and yes they make you trip.we call em cubes, or refer to them as what ever strain they happen to be, like Golden teacher, tasmanian.
Once you do some reading you wont want to buy a kit..look at the grow/find section on your left hand side.

Here's another thumbs down for a kit. They don't make it any easier. I tried a Homestead kit my 1st time. It made it harder cause there was only enough supplies for 1 try. Any fuckups and your fucked.
Just follow the PF tek or Magic Mushroom growers guide. (grow/find) You'll do much better for less cost

first off..ill agree with wakinguplate..kits suck......read about kits(do a search) u can build your own with better equipment for way cheaper...and second..there are alot of psilocybe cubensis strains...where is the kit comning from? which company? they probaby b + most people like to include those for some reason

Sorry Darry, I guess weve overlooked the most important
question: Will they kill you? Well if you go out into the wild
and pick the wrong shroom, yes, it can kill you. And it's a
slow and painfull death from kidney failure.
If you buy sporers from a vendor or a fellow shroomer,
there's no way this can happen. That's not to say they're
perfectly safe either. Trippin too hard then going for a walk
in a snow storm or driving into traffic wouldn't be a good
idea. Start with a small dose. Get acquainted with the
euphoria before you push it. My personal opinion would be
a (dry) gram or less, first time out, but not less than a half
gram.
I just realized that you said you loved shrooms. You will
still need to evaluate the strain that you grow. If the
ones you've eaten before were dried with heat, then
growing your own and drying them slow will prove more
