That is a quote from a person who is ignorant of a most perspective-changing truth and what comes with it. A person who believes in that quote is in the same boat as the person who said it in the first place was. There is no deep mystery anywhere if the mystery is known to be. Who the hell cares about mystery anyways? If you know one thing, you can know everything. Chasing after "mysteries" says alot more about what kind of person you are than does inspire any real interest.

Which rabbi are you talking about? Do you mean the one that is about to go on trial for having a hit put on his wife? I'm not usually one to judge people, but I think its bad form for a religous leader to hire a guy to execute his wife. Mabey she deserved it, I don't know. If I was married for 20 years I would probably want to kill my wife too, but it is a little unseemly to try to lead your flock in any moral sense after you have had someone killed. This might not even be the rabbi you were talking about,gnrm23, but I brought it up anyway.

no, the rabbi i mentioned was a carpenter, live in palestine ~ 2000 years ago, his followers (& a johhny-come-lately named saul/pual) started a cult that changed the world, name of joshua/yeshua/yeshai/issa/jesus or something like that...
