I think that the "Enthobotanical Garden" should cover "regular" gardens as well.

Maybe "The Entheobotanical and Gardening Forum"

I really like the name of the entho garden tho, so maybe you should just mention it in the discription. There are already posts along those lines in the forum occasionally, but unless you frequent that forum then you wouldnt know that. I guess either that or there should be a seperate gardening forum but i cant see it getting much traffic, so i think the two should be together. Anyways im sure there are quite a few shroomery members who have their own vegtable gardens, and might like to share tips and such, and help out those who are new to it. Peace

hehe.  also ethnobotanical doenst mean drug/herb type plants.  it means plants that are used.  therefor any plant that is used, crafts, houses, eating etc could techniaclly go there.  and there are threads about non tripping type plants.  but many dont care to discuss them there :frown:

I never bothered with Culinary Arts, but the Ethnobotanical Garden Description includes garden setup. There's no special garden setup for plant entheogens than there is for any other plant. So I'd say this includes gardening in general.

There's been many a post in EG about "normal" plants and normal gardening. It's just that a lot of the members are more interested in entheogens.

I certainly won't move posts about "normal" gardening or gardening in general.

I'd also reccomend changing the forum description to match the forum name. That is change "entheogens" to Ethnobotanicals, or change Ethnobotanical Garden to Entheogen Garden. But I'd favor the former.

Just wanted to say, you are an awesome mod at the garden neuro.

I think the garden accepts all plants, they don't have to be "special," that just makes them more interesting.

Yea Neuro is awesome, and I know that you dont delete threads about normal plants, I posted one a looong time ago about an ailing habanero plant, and respones. What i meant is that unless you frequent that forum then you probrobaly wont know that its ok, unless you know the exact definition of the word Ethnobotanicals. Also i think its a little strange that the two should be split, certainly there is something for both the normal and the spiritual gardeners to learn from each other.

The EG forum always considered any type of plant fair game for discussion.
