What genre of music does the shroomery prefer **POLL** * 1
    #3740150 -

I thought this would be an intereseting poll. In general, what type of music to you guys prefer. I for one enjoy all genres. I like being anything from a Hip Hopster, Cowboy, to a Goth Mansonite to a Hippy to a headbanger but my genre of ultimate preference is Electronica. Not becasue I think techno has produced musical masterpieces, but because I think it has the most potential....besides for the fact it gives me tingles up and down my spine.
Note: Just because you exclude a genre doesnt mean you dont like that music at all, it just means another type of music (your first choice) overcedes that one and grasps your interesnt the most. I am going to be generalizing and if I leave out one that should be in there----respond and Ill throw it in. Also keep in mind that some will clash (Goth/Heavy Metal Rockn and Roll/ POP Heavy Metal)...thats why there are multiple choices.
What is your premier genre of choice
You may choose 2
What genres trail behind your first choice(s)
You may choose only one
Which music do you absolutely despise
You may choose only one

You should redo it; make it a good one, and post it in the polls forum and link to it from this thread!

I like most genres of music, but the ones I listen to most are electronica, metal, and alternative/indie.

you forgot indie rock.
oh, and the term "electronica" is lame corporate jargon.
it is simply electronic music

I chose psyrock and chillout, but if you gave me more options, it would be more like the previous 2 added classical, ethnic/world music, psytrance, indie rock, dub and reggae.

yeah add indie. and add Latin to the salsa one.
And if you put it in the polls forum, you can make a pointer in MAL, here. It'll get tons of attention if you make it well.

Bob Dillan->Bob Dylan
Rennicance->Renaissance

Industrial metal mainly.

But this mixed genre is not represented by your polls.

(although one could argue that this is a form of electronica, it is far too generic of a term, that can generally refer to anything with elements that are digitally produced)

60 70s rock/metal even though the metal bands listed didn't make me want to vote that.
