Best Method for first timer?

What is the best method for first time grower. And how much is produced from one jar useing PF TeK. Also what is the best type of spore for PF TeK and a first timer. thnx

For a newb, the best tek to use is the PF Tek, or the MMGG (similar, rip-off of PF).

How much produced by one jar (assuming you use brf/verm like the pf tek advises you to) really depends on various factors, such as their environment, how much water/nutrition they have, etc. Expect anywhere from 2-5 grams dried per cake on your first try at growing, using the pf tek, and not casing.

The best type of spore to use is basically any P.Cubensis syringe. Don't use a print, this is for more experienced growers, IMO. Ecuadorian's are fast growing and are pretty decent, so I'd say go with those...

PF tek would be a good bet. It' simple and you'll have a great chance of growing some shrooms if you follow the instructions.Stick with the half pint jars. I've used pint jars and they work, but the bottom can be hell to colonize in these. As far as how much you can produce from cakes, I don't know. I tend to crumble and case mine.Someone else will have to help you out with that.Recommended strains: there are a number to choose from.B+, ecuadors,cambodians..to name a few.
