Operation Iraqi Freedom

#3711300 - 02/01/05 02:27 AM (21 years, 9 months ago)

Rather than me post my views or data, I strongly suggest any interested parties go back in time and check this out.

Note the FIRST mention from the White House of a possible Iraqi invasion.

Now note the reasons given and those presented to Congress to get funding and approval.

Now note when the reason for the Invasion was publicly announced as being the democratizing of Iraq.

Do the math, people!

Everyone knows the invasion is wrong, otherwise we would have found WMD's. The follow-up argument when the previous one failed, that "Saddam was a dictator," is simply a subconscious justification of the sebsequent occupation of Iraq, which has devastated the country well beyond its years.
