General of Wombatian defence, Mr. Hairy Rooteater: "After extensive talks, the Wombatian government have concluded that there is much suffering in America. Their Government has proven themselves immoral. One only has to look at American domestic affairs to see evidence of this.
"The criminal American government let their own people die, homeless and frozen in the streets while TV stars are paid millions of dollars per episode.
"This is a country in which religious leaders have been caught raping minors. These are the leaders that the innocent American civilians are forced to worship and revere.
"The evil American government causes over half of the world?s pollution, yet they have failed to sign UN environmental pacts. They flaunt this refusal in the face of the UN council, while UN members still bicker about details.
"Even the youth of America are so discontented with their lives under this fascist government that they bring weapons to school and kill each other in the playgrounds. Not only this, but they voluntarily ingest dangerous and poisonous fungi in order to hallucinate and pretend they are somewhere else. Anywhere else.
"Needless to say, none of these things happen inside the pure and just bounds of the Wombatian kingdom. The poor American men, women and children are forced to endure a living standard that is far below what the average Wombatian enjoys. Such is the injustice of the American government.
"Their warlord leader, George W Bush acted as the aggressor when, despite UN charter and global comdenation, he invaded Iraq. Under the Geneva convention and other UN laws, this war is illegal, yet America and her "allies in evil" ignore this fact (catch phrase emphasized with shaking of clenched fist).
"The dictator George W Bush continues to deceive not only the rest of the world, but also the innocent American people. Claims that Iraq possess weapons of mass destruction are so far unfounded, and all George W Bush and his government cronies can offer are excuses and procrastinations.
"The American government illegally retain POW's in Cuba without trial. These POW's are denied basic humanitarian liberties and are filmed and humiliated publicly. This action by the callous American military is in direct violation of the Geneva Convention.
"More ominous is that fact that newly gained Wombatian intelligence indicates that the Americans have stockpiled weapons of mass destruction. Yet they refuse the International community unobstructed access of all their classified military facilities. They refuse to let us interview their top scientists and they refuse to put forward their military technology for scrutiny by the International scientific community.
"In the past, the American government has shown that they are willing to use such weapons. They've dropped nuclear weapons on civilian cities. They invaded Vietnam and dropped napalm on their villages and farms. They dropped bombs on a an Afghan wedding and blew up a Chinese embassy. These actions constitute war crimes under the laws outlined by the Geneva Convention, yet no American military personal have stood trial regarding these atrocities.
"While the rest of the world remains frozen by cowardice despite the grave American injustice, Wombatica will not stand by idly. The Wombatian government and our allies will liberate the innocent American people and disarm their dangerous government of their ill gained weapons of mass destruction.
"We'll target all their major cities with extensive bombing campaigns, kill their leaders and set up a Wombatian interim government. Wombatian companies will take over their industries and set them on the right path of profit and a clean environment for the American people. After a while we'll choose an actual American and set him up as a leadership figurehead to avoid any anti-Wombatian sentiment that may prevail in the region.
"The Wombatian government realise that thousands of innocent American civilians will die in this attack. Many more will be left maimed and wounded. American children will be left not only without legs and arms, but without parents either. The Wombatian government deplores these circumstances, but that's the price you pay for justice. The American people will ultimately be jubilant at their new found Wombatian freedom and thank us.
"We, the Wombatian government nobly undertake the task of freeing the American people and deposing their dangerous leaders. It is our job, and we see fit to force our own views on this foreign nation, such is the injustice of their government. The Americans will be disarmed.
"At last, the innocent men and women of America will be free of their fascist government. They finally will taste justice and freedom"
