It seems I usually only remember my dreams when I'm not regularly using a drug
The only thing I do nowadays is smoke... Whenever I take a break (on any drug) I start having really fuckin' bizarre dreams... demented even... it always seems to happen for about the 2-3 weeks after I quit. and every single night.. every single nap.... then the dreams start to get back to normal.. after about a month
When i was doing acid regularly months ago... when I finally started taking a break (basically whenever I distrupt a normal drug instake schedule)... the same thing happened
anyone else have this kind of shit happen to em?

Yea I know what you are talking about. I think the drugs change the chemical balance in your brain and when you stop your brain must readjust hence the odd dreams.

Well, DMT produced in the brain has been linked to dreams, so I suppose if you're regularly using psychedelics, that would cause some sort of tolerance which would make your dreams less vivid.

Good theory... the weirdest one I had was years ago when I took a break from acid.. time was going backwards.. and all the thoughts in my head were going backwards.. and i dont just mean the words.. its like my reality was a videotape that was rewinding and my thought process was doing the wrong direction.. hard to describe

I can never remember my dreams when I smoke the night before. If I drink I usually have interesting dreams. Salvia gives me very vivid dreams for a few nights after I've taken it. Speed steals my dreams and mushrooms realise my dreams.

Pot cause my dreams to be very exaggerated (cliffs are MASSIVE etc), Alcohol causes dreams about sex ( ) and Salvia causes my dreams to be extremely fucked up, but fun (I can fly !) . The Salvia ones usually turn out lucid.
If I don't take any drugs I don't dream much, or at at least remember them, perhaps once a week.

On Amanitas i wake up in my dreams..lucid dreaming i guess, but i also have intensified dreams for the next few days..
When i smoked weed, i could never remember my dreams...as if i didn't dream at all....
i think it is all a matter of awakening levels.
Some substances make you wake up, some fall asleep (or the abuse of them)
In Greek the word "awake" is exactly the same with the one for "smart"...
