do you dream?
    #2352424 - 02/18/04 09:25 PM (20 years, 2 days ago)

it has come to my attention that some people dont have dreams, or at least they don't think they do.  Hence the poll.  I dream lots every night, and usually remember my dreams for a while too.

I've always considered dreaming necessary to being, well, human, but maybe I'm wrong.... :lipsrsealed:

so please, enlighten me
Do you dream?

I voted no, just cuz it's very rare that I am actually aware of a dream I've had... most mornings when I wake up it's like I've just been asleep, if I didn't know better I would say I don't dream almost every night.

Me too. But if you notice, you will dream about what went threw your mind all day. Ive had a handful of dreams about my pf cakes growin in my hand while I was holing it. Because all I thought about all day was groing my cubes. I just got into Lucid Dreaming and I found that if you can control your dreams....You have another life you can live..
www.ld4all.com is the best site out there about dreaming.

I forget my dreams very quickly after I wake up, but when I first wake up I have fun remembering them for the short time I can.

I used to not remember any of my dreams, due to my heavy marijuana consumption  however, since I started taking DMAE I remember the vast majority of my dreams and I seem to dream much more vividly/lucidly than before.  That stuff works wonders

I dream in segments. Such as, I'll have a dream with its own storyline, characters, etc., then it will end and I'll start dreaming an entirely new dream. I usually have about 3 seperate dreams a night and I always remember them. Sometimes, I can lucidly dream, although this doesn't happen that often.

i am reading some dream books inspired by edgar cayce... very interesting stuff(recently traded to me from S2Dope).... seems that with a little effort you can keep track of your dreams as well as use them as a guide for experiences in physical world

Lucid dreaming  is better then regular dreaming , but I have both.

I smoke TONS of cannabis, so I refuse to belive cannabis ruins dreams, I also eat really well , meditate, exercise and dont watch much TV, and a B vitamin before sleep REALLY helps dreamimg.

anyway back to lucid dreaming

Its when you control your dream, and it not really that hard to do.

To start having lucid dreams all you have to do is try to push your hand through something solid while you are awake and thing to yourself, "am I dreaming", and when you realize you cant push your hand through say... a block of wood, you go about your day.

What this does is cement the words and action in the subconcious mind and after a couple days, maybe a week at most, you will be having not only more dreams but LUCID DREAMS.

I swear they are the greatest thing ever, I have done some pretty cool things in my ludic dreams and gained a way better understanding of my mind and subconcious.

TRY IT, it will work..........and its only one method, there are alot , try looking it up online if you want  as well , the lucidity institute is a great place to get info.

me too, i have lucid and normal,i love my flying dreams.
i once met a demon/angel in a dream and he told me that angels and demons are one,its your heart that decides what you will see.i know, i know demons will lie but fuck it was so real
i also remember a dream i had when i was a kid in the early 70's. i was a little stray brown dog that was in a pack of strays and i remember crying when i woke up cause i knew it was real and i wouldn't see my friends again,i think i was a dog in a past life because of that dream.
