Meditation/controlled hallucinations/lucid dreams?

Ok, so basically i have been reading up on the theory of controlled hallucinations and conscious dreaming (lucid dreaming) and i have taken up the practice of meditation, not in a traditional sense, but what seems to work for me i guess. I can bring my mind to several states, 1. deep relaxation, enhanced senses, especially sound 2. minor hallucinations, some interesting, very random pre-dream like images, often having auditory hallucinations. and 3. a beginning of a lucid dream, perhaps it is astral projection, i am not sure, many times happening when i am in another room than the one i am sitting in, or(more often) when i move my head and i can see my hair fall down over my face even though i know i have my eyes shut. When i leave this state, i can almost feel my... something, almost my soul being sucked back into my face (mainly eyes)

I was wondering who else is able to do this, and some good links to research it further, i feel that i am getting close, but every time i enter this third state i get too excited and 'wake' myself back up breaking apart the 'dream', i am never able to stay in this state for more than a few seconds, let alone control what is happening

and i find it easiest to do this when listening to very trippy music

I hallucinate all the time, sober or not, it kind of freaks me out. Maybe I should start looking at it like you do, because it's not doing me any good wondering what's wrong with my head.

yea, i figured i would try to learn about it and use it to my advantage, i can say the appeal of a controlled dream... man the possiblities

but more importantly astral projection

get's you in that zone much faster and it teaches you where to go... you simply feel what's right!

I've tried astral projection many times, but the furthest I've got was a deep body trance with vibrations. I could never make the next step. Maybe I'll start trying this stuff again.
