melatonin and valerian are great for making dreams better. it makes them feel SOOOO realistic and makes your dream feel like hours as opposed to minutes.

Hmm, didn't think anybody else has ever tripped in their dreams before...

I'd have to say maybe about ten times over the years? Maybe 1 or 2 less?

Ive never done DMT, but i guess your brain makes it. what i want to do is make my brain produce more DMT and then wake up . . . or stay asleep, whichever, i guess.

I belive the world of dreams is another world just as real as the wakeing world. This is why I think it is a mistake not to explore this world, but thats not my point here. What my point is is that I belive these other figures you encounter in dreams are certainly real entities and not simply products of your imagination, they are spirits or inoganic lifeforms or even other dreamers. Contact with known others through the dream medium has been known to happen, although i've not yet done it. I think once I get good enough at this I will be able to summon the presence of my known colleagues in my dreams. I've done stranger things than this, and like I mentioned before, anything is possible here. I get excited about this stuff.

what I learned at a course I took was once we sleep, we go into the astral plane which is another dimension. other than having fun, you really can develop spiritually. there are spiritual beings in the astral plane that can help you with this. of course there are also the negative entities but there are ways to deal with them  :smirk:

I do acid and mushrooms in my dreams regularly. I remember having dreams where I eat a few hits of blotter and the trip starts to come on, and sadly I wake up, and others where I'm walking in nature, find some blueing mushrooms, eat them and start to hallucinate. I've done a plethora of other drugs in my dreams too, such as DXM and heroin, even though I haven't even done the latter in waking life.

Dreams are crazy, the realms you can explore inside of your sleeping mind seem to go for infinity.

Empty Wisdom - Do you read Castaneda??
I used to practice this after reading Carlos Castanedas Art of Dreaming. And this was before I experienced any psychedelics. I always remember the one time where I actually did dream I was flying over my body - however All I remember after that is I got really scared and woke up in a fright and with a bit of sweat. I didnt want to do it after that. Im interested again lately though...

Also, concerning my dream journal, it causes weird reactions in my dreams. Last night, I had a rather weird dream that I knew I had to write down, and so I mentally had a mini-dream that I got my journal and was writing. It felt so real, and I could see all the writing, though of course it was useless and I did end up having to sit up and write the dream down in real life.

Trying to do tasks while in a semi-dream state seems to cause confusion between waking life and dreams. I wonder if this is what lucid dreams come from?

ya slipknot, ive been thinkin that too... trying to do experiments in lucid dreams to push the boundaries of conciousness and reality...

im not too good yet, but i just wanna start off with something simple like moving my vision out of my eyes and turning around and looking at myself and control in third person...

that should lead into becomin an entire crowd with contro.. then planet.. i dunno

i think projecting myself into other things could be interesting, or dreaming notin senses(see shit) but in pure thoughts

Funny enough, I've read all his books except the art of dreaming. It was a few years ago, though. I've been meaning to read that one but it just never happens.
