Strange Dreams/Nightmares

I've been having alot of random seemingly unrelated nightmares recently. They all start out pretty tame, then they slowly turn into nightmares. Eventually i wake up before something really cool happens. Anyone know why one week someone would be having regular old dreams(if any at all) and then the next week nightmares every night?

I had one where i walked down into a basement(to get a trash bag of porn i think LOL) then at the bottom of the stairs, between two posts there was a web with a black widow. I stopped dead in my tracks when i saw it. Then i turned around, and when i did, i stepped in this really thick black widow spider webs.  :shocked: Needless to say i freaked out! I fell to the ground in fear(which felt very real by the way, like a true phobia being activated) and i frantically brushed my legs off. Then i woke up. I guess now it's obvious i like porn and am scared of spiders!  :crazy:

The next night i had a dream i was in a old rickety mansion in some random little town. I was with a few people there. Then fucking night of the living dead happened!  :laugh: This dream was more fun than scary cuz i often imagined when i was little what i'd do in a "zombie situation". There was some shit, pulse racing shit going on though, so i guess it qualifies as a nightmare  :tongue: Anyway, we fought off zombies, and some really fucked up freaky shit happened. Next thing i know is that the mansion has turned into a headquarters for about 100 living people, who are all stuck in the house and afraid to go out. We had all sorts of systems for chores, watsh duties, cooking etc. There were all sorts of weapons to. The whole place was a fortress. We killed alot of invading zombies, and they thinned out quite abit. So we all packed up our shit and caravaned out of there one night to forgage for supplies. We wandered into the woods in the dark, i felt really scared, and the dream ended. Then i woke up. BTW, i love zombie movies, zombie dreams are even better though.  :wink:

I had another semi-nightmare dream last night that woke me up at 6 in the morning. But i cant remember what it was about right now. I understand why i dreamed about these certain phobias and monsters, but what i dont understand is why i'm being bombarded with these types of dreams all the sudden all at once. It's Weird.  :confused:

dreams work like that :wink:  the last time i had a nightmare was when i was prolly 4 - 5, always the same dream... driving a car and going off a bridge close to my home (at the time, still decently close, before it was about .1 miles, now its about 4 miles) the worst part is most of my *realistic* dreams end up happening in real life.  Anyway... i hadnt had a nightmare let alone a dream in years, well not ture everyone dreams when they are asleep, weather or not you can remeber it is another story, anyway.. point of the story, about a year and a half ago a month went by where i couldnt sleep without having very vivid dreams.  then all of a suddon they disapeared, then i started reading about lucid dreaming and other dream techs and i have (still uncontrolable =\ ) a dream at least once a week.

Here's something weird.

Often, when I'm smoking pot in my dreams...when I hit it, something solid comes out of the joint or bowl or whatever. The thing tastes horrible and gets stuck in my mouth and I can't get it out. The best way to describe it is as though I had a big wad of sopping wet napkin in my mouth that is too big to spit out.

I can't really help you out with why you are getting these dreams. I used to have a lot of vivid dreams as a kid. Then they went away. Then when I started drugs they came back. I like that.
I hope I have some good dreams tonight. I'm dexed up nicely.
