Invitro - filter discs?

Uh yeah, so I have 5 jars of B+, between 75% and 95% colonized and I plan to grow them invitro. My question is thus: When they're all fully colonized (and maybe pinning), should I remove the vermiculite and tin foil top layer and put on a Micron Magick disc or two instead? - that'd give them some space to grow ...

yeah i guess that would work... don't forget that the mushrooms will MAKE space for themselves, pushing the verm. out of the way... And after your first flush, the cake will shrink, leaving behind a lot of room...
