do you happen to have the specs for the roll you had? A weight size or part number that I can use when I call them? Is there any way to refer to it that they'll easily understand? Thanks!

the Micron Magic disks are spunbond polyester

http://hiloftnw.com/ makes spunbond polyester material of all sorts.

Years back - I had a big roll of one of their products & it looked like & worked as well as the Micron-Magic filters.

They can make HUGE rolls to about any thickness & Spec you want.

I worked at a company that did injection molding, one of the new machines they
brought in did the same thing, it's pretty neat watching it lay thousands of
random threads of polyester, the orifice size and the numbers of them determine
the density of the fabric and how effectively it can filter, tyvek is made the
same way but in my experience tyvek is a better product than the micron filter
disks that are being commercialy produced today, currently there is a filtration
grade of tyvek being produced that filters to .03 microns
