Am I doing this right? (With Pic)

Ok, I've gone through all the steps but my shrooms seems to be a bit undersized. I picked em right when the veil broke and the stumps are blue. Are the caps usually this small?

they look ok to me! there's nothing wrong with undersized boomers, I've read that a huge mushroom won't necessarily have more psilocybin than a smaller one, as the psilocybin is produced early in the growing process.

as for the caps, I think if you let them go a little longer the caps would've opened up a bit more.

Well, I think this is what you should do...

1) Please put something else in the pic (like a quarter, a ruler, a lighter, etc.) so that we can see what size those shrooms are. But by the looks of it, they look like they're kinda big.
2) Please let us know exactly HOW you grew those. Did you use brf? Did you case? Etc..

By the looks of it though, those mushrooms seem fine to me. The caps are small because you picked them when they were small, which is what you're supposed to do. If you would have let them grow, they would have gotten bigger and they would open up, increasing their size by a lot. But the potency would have stayed the same, so really there's no point in letting them reach full size (unless you need a print).

They bottom part is blue because you took it off of the cake. This is normal. You should always "twist" them off; never slice them off, leaving a stump behind. This can decrease yeilds on upcoming flushes and also it can rot and introduce contaminations, ruining your whole cake/casing.

P.S. What strain of p.cube's are those?

your shrooms are ok. there's some text somewhere that says we should avoid the temptation to grow our mushrooms as big as possible (by letting them grow fully) bcs the taste of mushroom goes worse and it lessens the concentration of goodies and it's only unnecessarily spending nutrients that could be used in further flushes...
i think you've done it right and now ur shrooms are real strong, albeit small, in your opnion...
ive seen you did cut ur shrooms out, dont forget to snip off all the fruiting body or it will rot out...

i hate wit sigs / if anything i say has something in common with reality, this is a merely a coincidence.

seems alright... they are kinda on the big side. the caps are smaller in proportion...
my guess is low humidity.... is just a guess...

He somehow manages to breathe in his sepia, wounded-tea, liquid ambiance suspension.
