1stTime (pic) are these ok?

These were bought from sporeworks as B+ strain. The second pic is kinda strange, this particular cake was dunked after birth, and now the fruit are all knobby and twisted togeather. The pic with the 'straight' fruit is of a cake which was not dunked. On this cake the base of each othe mushrooms has lots of 'fuzz'.

I'm looking for support or any criticism, is this how they are supposed to look?
Do these grows look ok to you guys? Any comments would be appreciated.

first timer? congratulations, you just grew shrooms!

in the first pic, the unusual growth is probably because of light from all sides - try taping up the walls so only the top is clear.
in the second, you have mutants! mutants are okay, but it's unusual to get most growth from the top. is it my imagination, or are the sides of the cake sort of greyish, kinda.... cobwebby?

very good job indeed! by the looks of it your rh might be a little high, just judging from the amount of mycelium growing around the bass of the shrooms.

Nice shrooms!

I too am starting to grow B+ strain. I just ordered the spores. What method did you use? Substrate? How many weeks did it take to get to that stage?

The cake on the right looks like it might be infected with verticillium. I would post that pic in the contam forum and get some opinions.

It took about 8 weeks all told.  I used everything straight off
the PF TEK page  standard half quart jars, standard vermiculum brf mix.  They were incubated at a little under 80 degrees for about a month, then birthed into that perlited coverd tupperwear container you see.  Thats about it.  That and alot of love.

This is from another part of the left batch. Whats up with the 'hairlip'? Thats the only one that has that 'feature'. Most of the fruit seems fine, except for being twisty and having alot of hairy mycelium around the bases. The grey sides of the cake are only a product of the camera flash, the cakes are pure white on inspection.

What are the dangers of verticillium?

Don't listen to some of these guys, they are giving you bad advice.

Your not growing mutants, the small caps are from a lack of air exchange, you need to put an air bubbler in their or fan it more often. Second, I see no contams at all, they look very healthy. I think they are talking about the shadow created from the angle of the picture. Try posting another pic of it from the side. I would pick these and enjoy your first homegrown trip, as they are good shrooms. But make sure to give them more air to get nice big caps next flush.

another mutant! people's penises grow like this sometimes, with a split underside, or the hole halfway along underneath - called hypospadias, poor chaps!

many mutants = probable tracable cause. did you use a lot of chemicals?

i'm glad to hear what you say about the cake on the right, but it still looks odd. maybe after this flush you can top it with wet verm - your first 'casing', sorta.

edit: psilocybin, if you think these are not mutated, just stumpy, i'd hate to see your crops! it is not normal for shrooms to grow from another shroom's stem, or to have bifurcated caps.

looking good my man.. I am with shirly shrooms are growing all wild cause the light is commin in from all directions.. Tape that up or get someting that only light comes in from the top..

TMC says that it is not toxic to people but it will decrease your yields. I have had crops infected with it twice before and ate them with no problems. That hairlip in the last picture you posted confirms it. It's verticillium.
