so what about trichs? or the other lesser known mesc carrying cacti? im looking for concrete info with a source please. to me this looks liek ANYTHING that has mesc in it is illegal except peyote (lophophora). so anyhting in that genus really. but it mentions nothing about the many other species in different genus'.

1. It says peyote is legal
2. If it doesn't say that it is illegal, it is legal

Both trichs and peyote are legal in Canada. Once you alter it in some way, then you can get in some trouble.

Probably because it is so well known, where San Pedro isn't.  Also, many other countries have peyote as illegal, and so maybe they are making a point to say it is legal :shrug:

Research the history of Peyote in Canada.  It's legal because the naitives said "don't make it illegal"...Kinda funny because it's not very common (or even existant) up here cause of our cold winters.  Whatever.

you only provided a quick snippet, what's the preamble to that section with the listing of illegal things.

Cause i'd take it, it says something like "the following are illegal"
Mescaline, but not peyote

So it says mescaline is illegal but peyote is not.

I know a couple places in toronto that sell peyote...its def available...same places sell all diff types of weed seeds...if I'm allowed I'll give the name of the place and the website

I'm sure crude extractions are illegal too, but yeah any salt of mescaline, Mescaline HCl, Mescaline HBr, Mescaline SO4..etc..etc..

I know of which store you speak of. They have SP and peyote in the front window. San pedros are about 60-70 bucks for a foot and a half. peyote buttons are 70 each. SOunds like a ripoff to me (maybe not so much the SP but the peyote is definetely). They sell salvia, HBWR and other shite too.
