I'm writing a song using various vsti's and stuff and i'm looking for a synth that sounds kinda of organic .
Its hard to explain what i mean... , i mean a synth that can do some sounds that you would mybe hear in nature or at least sounds close to something you would hear in nature. If its free thats a big bonus but if not i'll have to get it somehow.
Thanx very much.

Arturia moog modular V2 free download. complex but unlimited
I put an arrow to the fixed filter bank which is an amazing thing. feeding any sequence of music into this, you can adjust the resonance very significantly and generate peak or internal re-oscillation resonance - this is like having hugely flexible sinuses and singing in any voice or chathedral (reverb should be added as well)

moog bitch!
definitly an awesome synth sound, but I prefer the ARP 2600. I do not know if there is a program for it yet, but there should be.

the FFB in the MOOG is more than an equalizer since each band can be set up to peak, amplify or choke. there is nothing like it for creating natural/organic sounds. you could feed the arp into it. (square wave is very rich in harmonics so I would use that wherever possible) the sound will be split and can come out as a chorale of other sounds, based upon the components (usually peak at certain frequencies can be set to do this type of sound reconstruction) you could take the output or input and add reverb to give additional depth.

check the VST sticky post at the top of this forum, maybe there's a description of something you seek.
It'd be hard to find a synth that duplicates nature sounds organically... for that I'd just use samples
