1/30 jars colonized in 12 days :o( * 1

hi i inocculated 30 half pint jars (15 cambodia, 15 thai koh samui) 12 days ago with some syringes i got from spore chicks and today i looked at the jars hoping to see that most of them would be colonized, however i found that only one jar(TKS) was about 10 percent colonized. the rest of the jars looked totally uncolonized. could this be because i only used 1 cc of spore solution? or could it be that the jars are too dry? i mixed the PF jars and let them sit for two weeks before i inocculated them. if the jars are too dry is there anything i can do to save them? thanks!

1 cc is plenty but if you let them sit for a couple weeks, they may have dried out. Although I doubt it unless they were sitting on a heat registrer or something.

Doesn't look good, I think you should start over.

maybe you should consider getting spores from elsewhere....only a suggestion :)

I got mine from thesporedepot....order was here in 4 days and had mycelium growth in the first 3 days after inocualtion in all 18 jars
