Ever have your jars colonize from bottom to top? * 1

Like the bottom of the jar and the bottom half is completely donw before the top half of the jar starts. Is this bad? Also there's so much water in the jars :( Is THIS bad? And...does turning the jars upside down or on thier side make them colonize the uncolonized areas faster? thanks.

FOAF has a jar that is colonizing from the bottom up right now, and it looks good, so I wouldnt worry about it. Too much water is bad sometimes, shouldn't be puddle or anything, just very moist. Turning the jars upside down in FOAF's experience helps speed things up.

Flip the jars and allow air exchange.
