brf/verm jars colonized???
    #501770 -

Hi everyone.. This is my first grow, Im going out of town for 5 days and when i leave my jars will be 100% colonized (no primordia) what should i do? Leave them alone, put in fridge, I plan on casing all but one which will be caked. Also I have some organic compost thats derived from cow manure (lowes) will it need to be pasturized before i use it to case with or use as substrate.. All easy questions to you pros but this new guy could use help, happy holidays and much love fellow shroomers...

Five days in there normal enviroment will not hurt anything, leave them as they are...I would not use the lowes compost, it has been treated with an "organic" anti fungal spray that will prohibit mushroom growth...Use straight verm for a no-fail first time casing...Later use hawks recipe or aliens...Good luck

Going crazy will drive you mad, but once you get there the rest is easy....All spores are not created equal!!!!!!!!!!! Sporeworks, Hawkseye, PF, they are completely viable with very strong genetics.
