Re: Which brf/verm formula?

ummmm....amount of brf and verm.. isnt really that important (doesnt have to be exact). Water may vary.. add water as you stirr the brf/verm formula until it is "moist to touch", just enough to leave extra juice of water on the botton of container. I mean little juice indicatin verm/brf mix absorved enough water. Pour out excess water..

I used the second of the two formulas to colonize some jars with B+ and it seems to be working quite well. I've never tried the first formula but I know the second one works good.

When using the max fruiting formula.(use it) You will have to add, H2o, to the substrate after the 2nd or 3rd flush.
I prefer to go straight to a double ended casing after birth.
That way they mycelium always has a reserve of H2o.

This is what I use and it works very well...

Simple Brown Rice/Flour/Water Substrate Recipe

Makes 6 - 1/2 pint jars.

1 cup of brown rice flour

4 cups of vermiculite

1 cup of distilled water
